This last weekend we had the super fun of running a craft at Keen Halloween. And iLovetoCreate, in awesome fashion, provided the fabric paints and markers! We decorated tote bags during the craft session, but the night before we made muslin square demo designs that we could hang up during the event. And guess what…..it turned into an awesome Halloween banner that were hanging up right here at home.

Supplies:
Tulip Brand Fabric Markers Fine Point & Dual Tip
Tulip Brand Fabric Paints (Slick, Puffy, Glow in the Dark)
Plain Muslin Ripped or Cut Into Squares – wash first (we did 14″ X 14″)
Clothespins and Cheap Laundry Line (from the $1.00)/consider decorating your clothespins
Wax Paper or Other Surface Protector (we use $1.00 store wax paper)

Once your washed fabric is ripped into squares, draw on and color your design with fabric markers. Then use all the awesome fabric paint for accents (the glow in the dark is great for Halloween). Let dry at least four hours and you can wash gently after 72 hours. Hang up your laundry line where you want it and attach your banner squares with decorated clothespins or huge safety pins.
Easy and fun and now you have a family Halloween art gallery.
