Valentine’s Day is coming and embroidering is always something wonderful to do. I drew this pattern up , just for you. Mix and match to make it your very own (add a mustache, cross stitch heart, or X and O’s). The pattern has three sizes to choose from (already scaled for you).
For embroidery thread, I use six strand DMC and vary the amount of strands I use to create texture (less strands for smaller patterns). The typewriter keys were done with french knots.
To transfer I used:
DMC Embroidery Tracing Paper (love this stuff)
Ball Point Pen
Blue Water Soluble Pencil (to touch up the trace)
Other Supplies:
Embroidery Hoop
Fabric (used here: cotton muslin)
DMC Embroidery Thread (color #s listed on pattern)
Embroidery Needle
